Welcome to the internet home of Hoosier Handmade Musky Baits. Our baits are totally custom and handmade from select Indiana hardwoods. Hand cut, shaped and painted one at a time. Each bait requires three weeks to finish. I use Name brand extra strong bronze hooks, Stainless steel hardware and now coated with at least 5 coats of the most durable epoxy available. What sets our wood baits appart from the rest are the EXTRA LOUD internal rattles. The 9" baits and the New Fat Potbelly Glider have special double two tone rattle that make a different sound that changes depending on the direction the bait is moved. Also note that I can make Topwater versions of all our Gliders. I ship via Priority Mail minimum rate is $6.00. and I can ship up to a pound of baits (2) for that rate. SS screweyes set with 3000lb marine epoxy, and attached with double strength split rings. New this year are the Deep diving version of the 7" Rattling Shad crankbait and the 7" Fat Potbelly Glider 1" thick with a double rattle. Again in 2008 Hoosier Handmade Musky Bait Contest
This year I will give away sets of baits (3 to a set) of the winners choice for the largest Musky and Pike caught, boated and released on my baits and a set for the customer that sends me the most fish pictures caught with my baits. That is three (3) bait sets. Winner will be required to have catch verified by witness and send picture of catch, date, bait used, Lake it was caught on. Have any questions shoot me an email.
